Where did the store name come from?

It's actually the store # (address!) Before we had a name, I called our group chat "1404" just to denote the space we were talking about and then it stuck! As I tried to come up with different names, nothing else really jived. We love this location and plan to be here for many years so we figured the space itself is such a big part of the shop that they could go hand in hand.
